The optima-life Remote Monitoring Service
A personalised physiological picture in 48hours
STEP 1
Order the optima-life Remote Monitoring Service on-line or telephone the sales team on 0207 135 2424. Payment can be made via credit/debit card.
Once you have decided to take up the Remote Monitoring Service your order will be acknowledged and optima-life will send you the optima-life Remote Monitoring kit and instructions on how to get started.
STEP 2
You will be provided with an activation code to enable you to download from the internet an optima-life personal licence called Firstbeat Athlete. This allows you to get started and gives the optima-life team the key to assessing your data.
STEP 3
Personalised data is collected via your memory belt which you will need to wear over a 24 hour period.
The personalised reports look at training load, stress and recovery. So to get the best value from your assessment you will need to decide what day you wish to monitor, making note of when you trained, when you went to sleep and when you woke up. We will also need some basic data about your height, weight etc and your level of activity - guidelines are provided.
STEP 4
A docking port is provided allowing you to easily download the data from your memory belt into your computer.
STEP 5
You then e-mail the optima-life team your data. Full instructions are given on how to do this. It is easy but don’t worry, we are always at the end of a phone to help.
STEP 5
Your reports will be emailed back to you within 2 working days.
STEP 6
Once you have received back your results from the optima-life Remote Monitoring Service you decide when you wish to test yourself again. Some athletes use our service daily, others once a month, the choice is yours but remember you have twelve months to use your reports.
